Road surface repairs on Adderley Road (M58), between Philadelphia Road and Occultdale Road, have been scheduled with the Provincial Roads Authority for completion before race day. Due to recent weather delays, a short technical bypass may be introduced at the construction area.

80km Trilogy Challenge

Get ready for an epic adventure on the 80km Trilogy Challenge Route!

Starting at Durbanville Sports Grounds, you’ll tackle smooth tar, rolling hills, and the thrilling “Grand Prix Hill” before hitting the first gravel segment at 26km.

Enjoy farm roads, vineyard views, and challenging jeep tracks as you wind through local homesteads. Push through the notorious Occultdale Road’s rough terrain, tackle the 14 A-frame crossings on the Klipheuwel technical single track, and conquer Spes Bona Road’s famous washboard surface before a final sprint to the finish.

This is one ride that promises adrenaline, scenic beauty, and a true gravel test!

CUT-OFF locations and times

95km Route:

Cyclists reaching the R304, R302 & Slent Rd intersection (Klipheuwel silos) after 08h20 will be stopped and given the option to switch to the short route or be transported back to the event venue by the sweeping team.
Cyclists reaching the R302 & Old Malmesbury intersection (Malmesbury town) after 09h50 will be stopped and transported back to the event venue by the sweeping team.

76km Route:

Cyclists reaching the R312 & R304 intersection (Fruit sellers) after 08h35 will be stopped and given the option to switch to the short route or be transported back to the event venue by the sweeping team.

80km Trilogy Challenge:

Cyclists reaching the Adderley Road (M58) & Malanshoogte Rd intersection (start of single-track A-frame) after 11h00 will be stopped and given the option to either continue straight or be transported back to the event venue by the sweeping team.
Additional cut-off points may be introduced on the day depending on race day conditions.

Note:

Additional cut-off points may be implemented based on race day conditions. This will be determined and communicated on the day.
Cyclists opting for the shorter route options or boarding a sweep vehicle will not receive a result.

Race Cut-Off (Finish):

All marshalling & sweeping teams will be withdrawn from the 99er routes at 12h30, which is the official race cut-off time. Cyclists still on course after this time will be encouraged to use the sweeping team for transport back to the event venue before 12h30.

Results that we have not taken into consideration yet.
Distance must be 80km+ for Road events and 60km+ for MTB events
The results would need to be verifiable. They either require a link to the website where the full set of results are hosted, or bring a printout of the results, including the overall winners results.
Strava results and training data will not be accepted.
Results cannot be older than 18 months.
